PHOTOfunSTUDIO smartly sorts your photos and movies into practical folders that are created automatically as you upload them from your camera to a computer, for quick, easy management. The folders and their icons in PHOTOfunSTUDIO interface are linked with your LUMIX; by shooting mode names, by scene mode names, and by subordinate folders by names input in the Face Recognition function*, Baby Mode, Pet Mode, or by titles or destinations that you've input with the Travel Date setting.
Each folder is indicated with an icon, of such as scene modes, making it easy to recognize it, so you can find the photos and movies you want fast. If you want, you can have it organize your photos by keywords that you set, or by dates, or even by camera models. Having so many ways to access the image you want, searching and viewing photos and movies are more comfortable than ever before.

PHOTOfunSTUDIO features the independent Face Recognition function that recognizes the faces in the picture stored in your computer to sort the photos by the face*. You do not have to pick out each photo one by one out of thousands of photos when you only want pictures of a specific person. With PHOTOfunSTUDIO automatically sorts your images into virtual folders based on the faces you registered.

With the PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.1 HD Edition, the geo-tagged photos and movies taken with the DMC-ZS7(TZ10) can be sorted by the places automatically.

You can use the PHOTOfunSTUDIO to create original movies by editing the video clips that you've recorded in AVCHD or in AVCHD Lite*1. Content recorded in AVCHD or AVCHD Lite can also be burned directly onto a DVD disc for viewing on a DIGA Blu-ray Disc™ player*2, or converted with this software to the DVD-Video for burning onto a DVD disc.

With PHOTOfunSTUDIO, you can upload your movies directly to YouTube™ using the built-in YouTube uploader even in HD (High Definition) quality*1. AVCHD movies can also be directly uploaded*2.

You can cut out still images in single-frame units from motion images. This is ideal for catching the movements of a child or pet, or dynamic sports scenes.
Drag the image with the mouse to rotate up/down/right/left.
Photos in vertical, horizontal, or a 360-degree rotation panorama file with PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.1 HD Edition, 5.0 HD Edition or 5.0, images shot with a LUMIX camera can be synthesized into panoramic composite in MOV.

PHOTOfunSTUDIO lets you watch slideshows that are matched to the 4 kinds of background music – Natural, Slow, Swing and Urban – that come with the LUMIX slideshow function. Or, you can have it play your own MP3, WAV or WMA files. It is also possible to choose your favorite iTunes music file as background music. In addition, you can save the slideshows that you've created so you can watch them as many times as you want*.
With the PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.1 HD Edition, 5.0 HD Edition or 5.0, you can burn it onto a DVD disc in MPEG2.

There are a total of eight frequently used retouch functions, such as Brightness and Sharpness. The Auto Enhancement function even corrects the lighting in photos that are darkened by backlighting, or by insufficient flash in nighttime shooting.
PHOTOfunSTUDIO lets you print right onto your photos with the LUMIX titles that you input, or with the names, ages, and recording dates that you set in the Face Recognition function*1, Baby Mode, Pet Mode, or with text from the Travel Date setting*2. Plus, when you connect the LUMIX directly to a printer, you can add frames and stamps in your favorite colors and fonts*3.

The burn DVD button in PHOTOfunSTUDIO makes it easy and smooth to save photos or movies*1.
PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.1, 5.0 or 4.0 uses a simple, easy-to-understand GUI and wizard-type operation. With no complicated operations necessary, you simply follow the navigation instructions step-by-step. Saving photos or movies onto a DVD is easy even if you aren't used to handling computers.
Select the 'Copy to media' button from the menu. Operation will begin as soon as you insert a DVD.

Each of the HD Editions lets you set an original menu screen when saving movies recorded in AVCHD or AVCHD Lite.
This is convenient when playing movies on an AVCHD compatible device or DVD player, because you can immediately retrieve the movie you want*2.
You can save images in chronological order, or change them to any order you want.
Over 30 different preset background images are available. Of course, you can also make custom settings as well.
Set the font and color of your titles, and position the thumbnails in whatever way you want.

This software is designed for people who want to edit their photo images. In addition to the standard retouch functions, it lets you draw illustrations onto your photos, and add frames.
You can create panoramic composite photos in vertical, horizontal, or spherical 360° orientation. If you're using a model that includes Panorama Assist as one of the LUMIX Scene modes, a translucent image of the previous shot will appear as you shoot, so you can accurately take several overlapping shots and then synthesize them beautifully.
